Being a photographer I get to capture many special occasions in peoples lives - each one of them documenting a story to be reflected upon by generations to come.  Maternity photos to me are about new beginnings - a new life being welcomed into the world and all the crazy fantastic changes that come with it!  
The gorgeous winter Southland light was just perfect 2 weeks ago when I photographed Anna, who is now overdue to welcome her second child into their family.  These are some of the images.

Kirsten first became a client not long after I started my photography business.  I have photographed her second pregnancy & following that baby Janey, then some family photos when Janey was old enough to sit, so I was pretty happy when Kirsten contacted me for photos of her third pregnancy.  Northern Southland is a beautiful area so we decided to make the most of the late and low afternoon autumn light to capture this special time.

Kirsten & Paul welcomed Harley into the world one week ago today.  He is very cute so keep a look out for some newborn photos of him in the next week or two!
