Babies are the best gift. A newborn session ensures you have memories of your little one all curled up, with their rolls & wrinkles. The saying they grow fast is true and often by the time clients collect their final artwork they are already surprised at the changes in their little person.

Capturing all these delightful details before they grow and change is best done when they are between 6 and 14 days old, ensuring I can create images which you see in my gallery.

All newborn photography session are held in the studio with a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere, so you can sit back and relax. Here's what else you can expect from the session.

DURATION

Here your baby is in charge, and because they are all different, I allow up to three hours for the session. I look out for and listen to your baby's cues based on my experience. It's extremely important to me that we ensure both the safety and comfort of your baby throughout the session.

WHAT TO BRING

All you need to bring to the session is yourselves. Although I have all the necessary props, if you have something special you would like to incorporate, a family shawl, for example, you are welcome to bring that along. You will notice that I use many soft tones in my newborn photography. Please let me know if you'd prefer different colours to better suit your home's colour scheme so that your wall art fits in perfectly.

BOOKING

Please contact me before your baby arrives to secure a booking. I simply pencil in a date for a week after you're due, then you contact me when baby has arrived and we shuffle the date to ensure your session is held in those first 2 weeks.  Sometimes that isn't possible, but be assured newborns can be photographed up to 6 weeks of age.

 

SESSION COST
$350 which includes 

Session planning;

A session of up to 3 hours including use of all studio props/wraps;

A design consultation a week after your session where you view the final images

$150 credit towards the wall art of your choice
